Your Life is Beautiful!

Pink Boots, San Antonio Children's Portraiture

This is a couple shots from a family session late last summer in the King William district along the River Walk. I love her little boots. Such a Texas gal! I remember fondly the matching red cowgirl boots my girls wore when they were little and the blue pair I wore in high school. Yes, I spent my teen years adorned in my boots and an FFA jacket. Some of you might be surprised all these years later. Not your typical high school girl, but I have never striven for typical.

Favorite Portraits From the Past Few Months

Wow, life does get in the way some times. I can't believe I haven't updated the ole' blog since June! It's been a tough year for me and my family, so I have had to step back from the blog for a while. But, here I am and boy do I have some portraits to share with you! Tonight I am going to share some of my favorites from Ashlan's vintage session at the Texas Transportation Museum. She was a natural behind the camera and the lighting was beautiful streaming in the cloudy windows of the old Pullman passenger train. Take a look for yourself!

Wanda's Bridal Portraits, Pecan Valley Golf Course, San Antonio, TX

We really got lucky last week when Wanda and I met to take her bridal portraits. This south Texas heat is miserable this time of year, but we were blessed with a cool, breezy, overcast morning. The beautiful bride really turned a lot of heads driving the golf cart around the grounds! I had never driven one before and she drives one all the time where she works, so the logical conclusion was to let her behind the wheel, even in heels and a wedding gown. She handled it with class.
